Product Overview
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is considered one of the most efficacious chlorine-based disinfectants available. It reacts with the microbial cell wall and perforates it easily because of its zero charge and relatively low molecular weight.
It oxidises internal microbial cellular organic matter, destroying it completely, and diffuses rapidly compared with negatively charged hypochlorite ions, which cannot easily penetrate cell walls.
It offers excellent efficacy over a wide range of bacteria and viruses.
